Olympics 2012

The first photograph shows tooling manufactured in house using sheets of mdf machined on our cnc router.

The second picture is a large grp mould manufactured from tooling shown previously, this contract had 4 large moulds and 2 smaller moulds, all units were made so that the detailed lines that would be showing on the precast panel would line up seemlessly.

The third picture is a return nib built in to one of the moulds.

These 5 pictures demonstrate the diversity of work that we as a company enjoy being part of. Again, these moulds were used on another block with in the athletes village, they are rubber moulds heavily reinforced with a grp backing and depict samples of the elgin marbles. Each unit measured approxamately 2500 x 2500.
